We Thank You, Lord – for two-part choir with piano and glockenspiel. (Option: the glockenspiel part could be played on any C instrument.) This uplifting song written for children’s voices would also work well with the treble voices of an adult choir. It is very suitable for Thanksgiving, but usable any time of the year. The glockenspiel part, which adds sparkle to the composition, is easy to play, based on a descending scale in half notes. One of the two-part sections weaves the two voices together in close harmony, while the other section uses an easy canon form to create a climax.
