It’s probably the most challenging composition I’ve ever notated. It isn’t a happy tune and talks about the regrets of Christmases past and the need to make amends, keep our promises, and pay attention to friends & family. It is necessary, painful, and full of truth that most of us need to hear in these modern times. I hope that it rings true with you as well and that you end up with an appreciation for it. I am happy with the end result. I acknowledge the time and effort spent to get it onto the following pages was a determination handed down from God. Without Him, I could not have finished it.
