The 1st, 2nd and 3rd/Viola parts provide a genuine ensemble experience, and the 4th and 5th parts are the perfect introduction for beginners into learning to listen and watch a leader or conductor for their entries. 1st Violin (optional solo) Suzuki Book 4-5 or more advanced especially if used as a solo showcase opportunity. 2nd and 3rd Violin are suitable for players in Suzuki Books 2-3. Viola part doubles 3rd Violin but is written out on a separate line in the score and has its own part in alto clef. Any ensemble with plentiful violists would not require the 3rd violin part to be played on violin. 4th Violin is on open string A so is also suitable for beginner violists. The rhythm is based on Suzuki Twinkle rhythms (Variation B). 5th Violin is on open string E and uses Suzuki Twinkle rhythm Variation C. This arrangement was made for SuzukiSpace Cambridge in 2017.
