The music is Schubert's March Militaire. The text is wonderfully witty. The result is an unforgettable novelty number for mixed choirs. Each section of the choir brags about being the very best in town or having the finest sound in the chromatic B section, before recapitulating the strong we are the choir hook. Funny (to hear) . . . and fun (to sing)! Featured on the Hooray for Hollywood! movement DVD #28868.

Fair...Don't expect the Hallelujah Chorus
A bit simplistic. I expected more, but as I went through the piece (after I received it) I was a bit disappointed. Both the lyrics and melody lines are a bit repetitive....adding a descant at the end would have helped (I plan to add one) or actually splicing in a few bars of some old tunes, after all, the songs says that the choir will be singing songs both old and new.
