Published by Will Corbin (A0.1465664).Here's an adaptation one of roughly 500 different recorded covers of this Antonio Carlos Jobim bossa/jazz classic. It's built on John LaBarbera's down-tempo ballad version for the Buddy Rich big band. Trombonists know this one for two features: a gorgeous but challenging bass 'bone solo, and a tricky but gorgeous 'bone section soli. I've plugged the tuba in for part of the bass 'bone solo (it would take a superhuman tuba player to manage all of it) and preserve the soli in quintet form.
