A must have book for those who want to learn Walking Bass Line. The technique used for connecting chords are clearly explained. We can use half steps higher or lower,scaleswise,chord tones chromatics and modes targeting to the next chord.

the basics in a very clear form
A must have for DoubleBass beginning in jazzI find this book very interesting for beginner doublebassit trying to understand the place of the bass in jazz context,but also for more advanced player too , and for instructor it is q must have book. It helps for the fondumentals of walking bass with a very constructive and dense form. All is clear explain, even for someone who don't speak english very well like me :).i love the previous classic rufus reid evolving bassistmethod too, and jazz conception of Snidero, and dvd of ed friedland upright bass are some of my favourite. This little book summaries a lot of the base of the line bass in a very clear and evolutive way, and the cd expose the matter;
