An arrangement for recorder quartet - 2 trebles (or descant and treble), tenor, bass - of "Volksliedchen" (little folk song) composed by Bohemian-born Karl Komzak (1850-1905). He came from something of a musical dynasty, with his father and son (both called Karl) being musicians and composers. Originally intended for string quartet, this arrangement for four recorders would make an ideal short item in a recital or perhaps as a calm, and tuneful encore piece. The set comprises full score and parts, including an alternative part for descant instead of treble 1. Difficulty level : Intermediate/Advanced.
