The Beauty in pain
I absolutely love this song. I sang it in high school and loved it then, such a fun song to sing...at the time our motivation for the song was why it was written, in a celebration of the composers' wifes' life after all the mourning was finished for it. Well my father just passed on and I believe for the first time I actually understand the song. I just listened to it again and now I can hear the beauty comes from the pain, it is indeed a celebration, but the hurt is not fully gone...nor should it be, but it is beautiful.
