Village Talk' is gebaseerd op de geschiedenis van Ruinen en zijn muziekvereniging Crescendo. De oorspronkelijke titel was: 'De Heerlyckheid Ruinen'. Een 'Hoge Heerlyckheid' was vanaf de Middeleeuwen (ca. 500 tot ca. 1500) tot laat in de achttiende eeuw een zelfstandig gebied met eigen wetten en rechtspraak. Er is gebruik gemaakt van muziek uit de middeleeuwen en via de barok naar de hedendaagse pop- en big band bewerkt.

Village Talk' is based on the history of Ruinen and its musical society Crescendo. The original title was: 'De Heerlyckheid Ruinen'. A 'Hoge Heerlyckheid' was an independent area with its own laws and jurisdiction from the Middle Ages (ca. 500 to ca. 1500) until late in the 18th century. Music from the Middle Ages and through the Baroque to contemporary pop and big band arrangements was used.

Village Talk' est basé sur l'histoire de Ruinen et de sa société musicale Crescendo. Le titre original était: 'De Heerlyckheid Ruinen'. Une 'Hoge Heerlyckheid' était une région indépendante dotée de ses propres lois et juridictions depuis le Moyen Âge (de 500 à 1500 environ) jusqu'à la fin du XVIIIe siècle. La musique utilisée allait du Moyen-Âge au baroque, en passant par la pop contemporaine et les arrangements de big band.

"Village Talk" basiert auf der Geschichte von Ruinen und seinem Musikverein Crescendo. Der ursprüngliche Titel lautete: "De Heerlyckheid Ruinen". Eine "Hoge Heerlyckheid" war vom Mittelalter (ca. 500 bis ca. 1500) bis ins späte 18. Jahrhundert ein unabhängiges Gebiet mit eigenen Gesetzen und eigener Gerichtsbarkeit. Es wurde Musik aus dem Mittelalter und dem Barock bis hin zu zeitgenössischen Pop- und Big-Band-Arrangements gespielt.
