A new arrangement for brass quintet of the classic Italian song from the 1930's - "Vieni Vieni". It was very popular in America and Europe in the pre-WWII days with Rudy Vallee adding an English language lyric which became a big hit for him. It was featured in the 1946 film, "It's a Wonderful Life" as source music in Mr. Martini's bar/cafe scene. This arrangement features the contrasting styles of the Verse and Refrain as played in the slow tango verse and the upbeat refrain. The great sounding arrangement builds in volume and tempo as it progresses to a rousing finish. It presents the opportunity to show how brass instruments can bring feeling and excitement to a performance in one piece. It would make a great addition to any program. It is scored for two Trumpets, one F. Horn, one Trombone, and one Tuba. Enjoy!
