In Variation 1, the standard melody is enhanced with embellishments and accompanied by arpeggios in the third voice. Variation 2 is a steady swing in 6/8 time. Variation 3 is a rhythmic section that feels somewhat like a Scottish reel. Variation 4 is light and sprightly, with all voices playing eighth notes in unison. Variation 5 ends the piece as a soft, pretty finale. This arrangement is best suited for advanced musicians. Run time is approximately 5:05.
