Beth Vinson #1451478. Published by Beth Vinson (A0.1892931).This is a Theme and Variation arrangement of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" for beginning band. I originally wrote this as a clarinet duet for my young daughter and me, then I added another variation and made it for band. At the beginning it states the theme. The 1st variation is a harmony part. The 2nd variation is in 3/4 time with different rhythms throughout. The 3rd variation returns to 4/4 time and is a little more challenging. It's a nice change of pace great for any concert. In the French Horn part there are times when it divides. The top notes are the original part, the bottom notes can be played if the top notes are too high. The theme is written for unison so if the top notes are too high and the bottom notes are too low, then just don't have them play. If you need more percussion parts the bells can play the flute parts and other percussion instruments can play the rhythms of the instrumental parts (parts 1 and 2). I forgot to put in dynamics so you can add them how you want. You can also assign solo (duet) parts at any point for any instruments to spotlight any person or instrument to add variety.
