Composed by Agustin Barrios Mangore. Arranged by Michelle Mooney. This edition: pdf, streaming. 20th Century, Chamber, Classical, Instructional, Wedding. Individual part. 17 pages. Michelle Mooney #1134808. Published by Michelle Mooney (A0.1562833).
This beautiful piece comes from one of most colourful, prolific, and well known guitar performers and composers of the early twentieth century, Agustin Barrios Mangoré. His beautiful, lyrical, adict-worthy works have delighted generations of guitarists and continue to do so.
Delicate, poignent and self-contained, this waltz was written by Barrios as the third of a group of four waltzes contained under the opus 8 classification. One of only three of Barrios' works which carry an opus number, opus 8, with its four waltzes, is one of his most popular works. Opus 8 was first published in 1952, but is believed to have been composed on or before 1923.
Complete, with full performance directions and guitar tablature, making this arrangment as accessible as possible.
All four waltzes are available under my arrangements.
