Urbanización is a multiple percussion work for solo percussionist. Its in one movement and uses urban street rhythms, sounds and chants as vocal graffiti. It was concieved as an expression of the sounds of the inner city. The interjected vocalized graffiti, which also includes a traditional Spanish nursary rhyme, serve as an emotional outlet transmitting the attitudes of the streets.
