Two Sleepy People by Hoagy Carmichael 4-Part - Digital Sheet Music

By Frank Loesser

A light-hearted easy swing Hoagy Carmichael tune that is normally presented as a conversation between a married couple. For a barbershop quartet, it would ideally be sung by a 2 + 2 male/female configuration, although other configurations could possibly be made to work. In this arrangement, the verse and the first chorus have the melody in the lead line, but the melody could be divided between lead and baritone as desired, so positioning those two in the center of the quartet would make sense. In the second chorus, the first A section hasbass melody and the second A section has tenor melody, so it would make sense for all to switch places to position those two in the center spots. From the second B section to the end of the song, use any convenient configuration
