Published by Gary Friedman (A0.889874).At the request by members of the San Francisco Civic Symphony, I orchestrated two of my wind octets, Romance and Octomarch, to be played to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the excellent and collegial conducting of the orchestra by Garret Gerritsen. This can be played by chamber orchestra with added harp. The sound clip is computer playback which is of low quality. To get a better idea of the piece please listen to the sound clip of a nice performance of my Romance octet, which can also be heard at my music website, www.garyfriedmanmusic.net. Year 2009.
