Masterful Orchestration for Band
Though for concert band, the compositional thought here is remarkable. Del Borgo’s use of texture, moving from lyrical flute features to rich chorale-like passages, demonstrates excellent ensemble 'voice-leading.' Every section is given meaningful material, creating a cohesive and supportive soundscape. A Grade 2 piece that truly teaches and inspires thoughtful listening and playing within the band.
