Trumpeter's Lullaby
If you already have Robert Nagel's Intermediate Trumpet Solos vol.1, then you have the piano backing track to practice with. This makes for an excellent 'soft touch' trio along with the pianist. Adding harmony to the well known solo line is a nice touch to this Anderson 'classic'. The phrasing in parts is identical with separate entrances - so all players must be able to articulate the double tongued notes cleanly. In my opinion - the 3rd part is the most difficult because of the low register fingerings, so the weakest player should be on 2nd.
