Less familiar repertoire
This is well worthy studying - not easy but it rewards proper study as it is not easy to sightread. The music is romantic and highly expressive with a wonderful harmonic landscape, French influenced. It is also rewarding to find music by a woman composer of any age but especially late nineteenth/early twentieth century. I would like to mention that the copy is not the best. It is clearly re-copied complete with a few performer marks and inaccuracies particularly in the first violin part - not really acceptable at the price in my opinion.
