Great Piece, Sloppy Editing
This edition will suffice, but it has several (fairly minor) problems. The score and parts appear to have been edited by different persons with no consultation between them (or, as may be, among them): They don't match. Articulations are disparate, and so occasionally are dynamic marks. There are many measure number errors in the clarinet part and at least a few in the viola part too. (I haven't checked the violin part). I recommend you buy another edition if feasible, but this one will do in a pinch.To save you rehearsal time, I'll list below some of the errors I've caught.Clarinet part: 1) Measure number errors: a) First movement: 52 should be 51; 73 should be 75; 116 should be 115. b) Third movement: 194 should be 195. 2) Other errors: a) Third movement measure 88 is missing an eighth rest. b) First movement measure 66 is missing a forte mark.Score: Second movement trio, m.47, viola, first triplet eighth of third beat should be middle C, not Bb as written.
