An introductory fanfare announces the tournament. A short parade presents the participants and the fanfare is repeated once more. Peter Goossensen succeeds in suggesting a popular historical entertainment in a easily accessible wind band piece.
Une fanfare brillante annonce le tournoi de chevalerie, puis une bref défilé présente les chevaliers participants. Finalement, la même fanfare clôture cette brève pièce pleine d'effets. Une composition intéressante sans grandes exigences.
Eine Eröffnungsfanfare kündigt das Turnier an. Ein kurzer Aufzug präsentiert die Teilnehmer und nachher hört man noch einmal die Fanfare. Es ist Peter Goossensen ganz gut gelungen eine populäre mittelalterliche Unterhaltung in einer einfachen Blasmusikkomposition darzustellen.
