Too Much Coffee by Les Hooper Jazz Ensemble - Sheet Music

By Les Hooper
Jazz ensemble (5-4-4-4) - Grade 4-5

SKU: S1.SMP-1077

Composed by Les Hooper. Arranged by Les Hooper. Fast Swing (possibly free). Score and parts. Published by Sierra Music (S1.SMP-1077).

This is a fast, swing chart that is a feature for tenor saxophone. The soloist gets to blow in a free-form setting, or the soloing can be done in time with the rhythm section. The rest of the band plays a neat, tight introduction to the improvisation, and they follow the solo with the same swinging, nifty music as the front end. This is a clever, hip, piece that makes a great addition to any program..... especially if your brass section needs a rest. Les recorded this with his wonderful band on "Live at Typhoon." 5-4-4-4.
