Tomorrow Never Dies, usually sung as a power ballad, makes a great swing jazz number. This is a lead sheet in D minor concert with voice or alto sax singing/playing the melody, and also with piano, bass and drums. The first verse and chorus is notated both for voice and sax (in their respective keys) to show how the melody works with 4 beats in the bar compared with the original 12/8. Otherwise chords are provided (both for the melody and to support improvisation), so this arrangement is only suitable for players who can realise and improvise against jazz chords.
The melody for voice has a wide range from A3 to F5 (equivalent to a mezzo soprano's range in classical terms).
