The theme is that of the anguish felt by my grandmother in the final years of her life after her husband of over 5 decades passed away. The two melodies represent each of them calling to the other, filled with sorrow, yet somehow beautifully connected and expectant of each other, until finally at the end, the two melodies return simultaneously in a somewhat more joyful setting as they are Together Again.
Brass Ensemble: (Recommended that each part have at least 2 players to ensure full Brass Choir sound)
