Toccata Festivo Hal Leonard Student Piano Library Showcase Solo Level 4/Early Intermediate by Jennifer Linn Piano Method - Sheet Music

By Jennifer Linn

Toccatas traditionally offer pianists truly exciting recital fare, and this new toccata by Jennifer Linn lives up to that promise. Challenging, but always within reach for aspiring young pianists, this is a great “easier, sounds hard” piano solo sure to garner audience applause. Alternating-hand eighth notes are featured throughout at a vivace tempo, but always within a 5-finger hand position that shifts registers up and down the keyboard. HLSPL Level 4 Early Intermediate piano solo. 4/4; Vivace; F Major; blocked chords and thirds; 8va, 15ma; legato pedal;, accents, staccato. (Timing: 1 minute, 5 seconds)

For those who love fast pieces!

This is a great piece to grow in playingpieces with speed. It has repetitivesections as well as a good amount of dynamic changes occurring throughout piece. If you haven't considered trying this piece out or want to help your studentsdive into the Toccatas without too muchdifficulty, this piece is a good one to get. It has some areas of challenge but overall it's a great fun piece to learn and is a good piece to have in your repertoire.
