Even though the composer intended the music for solo piano, there have been numerous arrangements of this work - instrumental as well as vocal. The tune has also been used as a movie theme and even as the basis for a pop-song by Elvis Presley. This particular arrangement for String Quartet is short and sweet and unassuming - it was a special request for the seating-of-the-family at a wedding.
