Time Remembered, Fantasy for Saxophone Sextet, is for 1 soprano sax, 2 alto saxes, 2 tenor saxes, and 1 baritone saxophone. The arrangement is for more advanced players and makes full use of the entire range of the saxophone for all parts, including some altissimo in the soprano and 1st alto. The peice begins with a expressive chorale based upon the composer's original melody with harmonics borrowed from the jazz idiom, followed by a presto 3/4 hemeolic section including varations on the theme and a short fugue.
