Concert band - Grade 1 - Digital Download
SKU: IZ.CBW096-S
Composed by Christopher Barr. Pathways Series. Score. 6 pages. Imagine Music - Digital #CBW096-S. Published by Imagine Music - Digital (IZ.CBW096-S).
9 x 12 in inches.
Tick-Tock was written as an introduction into concert works for young band. The parts cover the notes and techniques typically learned in the first year of band and even throw in a few extra surprises to serve as a teaching tool. When writing Tick-Tock, the composer tried to keep in mind the very diverse instrumentation and band sizes throughout elementary education. He attempted to accommodate bands with as few as 12 players to as many as can fit in a band room. The piece includes a full complement of parts for the low reed section, but none are required since the parts are covered in the low brass. Included in the Pathways Series.
