I was introduced to Thuma Mina (Too-ma Mee-na) by a South African, Garmon Ashby. I immediately fell in love with it., says composer Sheldon Curry. Curry has long been interested in sacred music of cultures other than his own. In Thuma Mina he combines the folk tune with a his version of I Have Decided To Follow Jesus, which originally came from India. The result is a fun, vibrant international feast.
