Three glorious choral motets of Brahms arranged for an octet of his favorite instrument - the Horn. Providing a contrasting stylistic recital addition to Renaissance transcriptions and contemporary jazz and popular works, these arrangements will challenge advanced players yet offer accessible inner parts for intermediate players, offering an opportunity for players to experience Brahms without a full orchestra. The Three Motets arrangement was premiered by the Eastman School of Music Horn Choir in 2023. The recording is of the entire edition.
