I first sang 8 Bells in a college men's double quartet. As we started out, we called ourselves Eight Bells after the title of this song. The group has continued for 50 years with new members as old members graduate. We recently had a reunion and some of the original members sang the song again 50 years later, but had to sing it from memory because no one had the music. I decided to try to find the music and found it on SheetMusicPlus (the only place). After ordering it with some very good help from their staff, it was good to see the music again. Our memories weren't too far off. The current Eight Bells at Geneva College is considering adding it back into their repertoire. I thought maybe I would not be able to find the music at all.
