This ground breaking anthem features three glimpses of worship: continuously in God’s throne room, in the face of persecution here on earth and throughout eternity in heaven.
East of the Altar/Artist of Note settings are designed for choirs of medium ability, but of advanced interest in leading worship, exhorting believers and making disciples. Each is offered with true choral, accompaniment and stylistic integrity in voicings and ranges that set the melodies and harmonies—and, most importantly the text—in singable and playable versions that can be achieved within rehearsal limitations. Vocal parts are limited to practical ranges and, while there is divisi in soprano—generally offered to keep ranges accessible, each voice is always easily sung. The playable accompaniments have comparatively little movement in the left hand beyond the middle of a typical measure, especially when there are technical requirements in the right hand.
