Composed by R. Schumann. Arranged by Malte Winje. This edition: pdf. 19th Century, Chamber, Children, Romantic Period, Singer/Songwriter. 4 pages. Malte Winje #1298142. Published by Malte Winje (A0.1736780).

This is the melody of a poem by Heinrich Heine. Two soldiers return to France after being imprisoned in Russia. The piece for two violins must be played with empathy and patriotism! I have written a 2nd part not so much as an accompaniment, but as an equal and melodic part that creates a nice interplay with the first part. This is one of 12 duets where the pieces are taken from Suzuki 2 - and where the 2nd violin part has a more independent role than is usual in similar arrangements.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
