It would work for quartet (2 violins, viola or violin 3, and cello), String Quintet with the inclusion of double bass, or string orchestra or ensemble. The included violin 3 part is primarily viola in treble clef, if a viola player is not available. The violin 1 part includes some third position work, and a simplified cello part is also included if the player finds the string crossings too difficult. This would suit intermediate level players and therefore suitable for school chamber groups and ensembles.
