The Teddy Bears’ Picnic started life as a melody written in 1907 to which a text was added 25 years later. In the meantime, the song as been recorded in countless versions and now appears as an arrangement for concert band by Georges Moreau. This delightful children’s song is a perfect interlude for your concert programme, to delight young and old alike.

Le compositeur américain John Walter Bratton a écrit la mélodie de la chanson The Teddy Bears’ Picnic (Le Pique-nique des Nounours) en 1907. Les paroles, de l’auteur irlandais Jimmy Kennedy, ont été ajoutées en 1932. Au fil des années, d’innombrables artistes ont repris cette chanson, qui demeure très populaire parmi les enfants anglophones. Une oeuvre ravissante et divertissante pour petits et grands.
