Teddy Bear's Picnic
David Flatt's arrangement of teddy bear's picnic holds a lot of special feelings. First is that I used to listen to it as a kid. Second, this was the first piece that our sax quartet read through when we were getting together. The tight harmonies and the way David makes the melody flow is outstanding. I've used this arrangement with my middle school quartet and highly recommend it. Middle school audience and players really enjoyed the piece.

I arranged this!
I wrote this arrangement back in '87. It has been played yearly and loved dearly at the International Garlic festival in Gilroy CA. It is fun to play and great sounding. It is an SATB arrangement. The time period is from turn of the 20th century. It is in a pop/march form. Watch the dynamics and the dude wails.
