This fun 'cello trio is a mash-up two of the most famous 'cello pieces of all time: Bach's Prelude from Suite No.1 in G for solo 'cello and Saint-Saens' Le Cygne from Carnival of the Animals. The first 'cello part is a direct transcription of The Swan solo 'cello line, the second 'cello part is inspired by the Bach 'cello suite, and the third 'cello is a pizzicato accompaniment taken from the piano part of The Swan. This arrangement would make a great student/teacher concert piece and is accessible to a mixed level ensemble. Enjoy!
