The Summons
Nice four-part setting of what is usually a unison hymn. The instrumental interludes were a little long but overall an excellent piece.

The Summons
This was rated as Easy and as SATB with optional violin. It is not SATB, it is SATTB. I am going to have to rewrite and edit. With close 3 part harmony for the men and a high G for the sopranos, as well as layered entrances, I would not consider this an Easy beginner's piece. The violin part does not come with the piece; it has to be purchased separately, and there is nothing in the piece that indicates what the violin would play. I am very disappointed in the description because it does not match the octavo.
