This is the 2nd movement of my 5 movement "Holston Spring" suite for trombone quartet. The other movements are: Holston Spring, The Railway Bridge, Turtles Sunning on the Shore, and the River Rolls On. All are available at SMP press. his movement depict a quiet shoreline mush like ones observed as the settlers drifted down the Holston River in their "Flatboats". Give a listen and imagine a quiet river journey.
