The Rose by Bette Midler Acoustic Guitar - Digital Sheet Music

By Bette Midler
Guitar, Solo Guitar - Level 4 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.1892122

By Bette Midler. By Amanda McBroom. Arranged by Louise Toller. This edition: pdf. 20th Century, Contemporary, Film/TV, Pop. Individual part. 2 pages. Louise Toller #1450644. Published by Louise Toller (A0.1892122).

Written by Amanda McBroom and made famous by Bette Midler, from the film of the same name, this song has since been covered by many artists. This challenging solo arrangement treats each verse differently: verse one uses artificial harmonics over a melody played with the thumb; verse two introduces a constant quaver accompaniment and simple bass, offering an opportunity to work on differentiating multiple close voices; and verse three fills out the harmony more to create a bigger sound, before dying away at the end.

Also available for guitar duet.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
