Pedaling made easy
The Robyn-Gurlitt book makes it easy to teach good pedaling techniques to students ranging from later beginner through early intermediate levels. Music begins easily, adding simple pedal rhythms. It progresses through to beginning hemiola rhythms and more complex musical form. My early students frequently use these pieces as short recital pieces.
