This musical work seeks to portray the various stages that make up a climb to the mountain of Pico. The summit of the mountain is 2351 meters above mean sea level, being the highest point in Portugal. Thus, this work portrays the full magnitude, magnificence and beauty that shows the mountain while the difficulty of your climb, with a final apotheotic of conquest and ecstasy.

Cet œuvre musical cherche à dépeindre les étapes d’une escalade du mont Pico. Le sommet de la montagne s’élève à 2351 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer, étant l’endroit le plus élevé de Portugal. Ainsi, cet œuvre dépeint la grandeur et la beauté que montre la montagne, ainsi que la difficulté de la montée, avec en apothéose une finale pleine de conquête et d’extase.

Dieses Musikstück möchte die unterschiedlichen Stadia von der Besteigung des Berges Pico. Die Spitze des Berges liegt 2351 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel und ist somit der höchste Punkt von Portugal. Auf diese Weise beschreibt die Komposition die volle Pracht und Schönheit, die der Berg sehen lässt und gleichzeitig die Schwierigkeit der Besteigung, mit als Apotheose eine Finale die den Rausch des Sieges hören lässt.
