Excellent Resource for Eb Students!
This Real Book Volume IV is a fantastic resource for my intermediate to advanced Eb students. The 'easy-to-read, hand-written notation' helps them focus on the core melody and chord changes without getting bogged down. The comb-binding is a huge plus for staying open on music stands. Great for Ensemble & Coaching Eb Instruments
While this is the Eb edition, it’s invaluable for collaborative work. The comprehensive selection of jazz standards with clear chord symbols makes it easy to follow along with a C instrument player or vocalist using their respective Real Book. The 'easy-to-read, hand-written notation' is consistent with the series, allowing for quick melodic interpretation. Great for coaching Eb instrumentalists on accompanying or leading a combo.

So Much Fun for Weekend Playing!
