Good arrangement for young choirs
The arrangement is kept fairly simple and is appropriate for young intermediate level choirs.I purchased the show trax CD along with the sheet, the instrumentation is good but here's the flip side,The variation in the dynamics of the music is quite extreme at the transition of the theme song into the second song..The level (loudness) of music drops down so much so that unless the monitor speaker or amplifier is kept very close to the singers,it becomes quite inaudible for them.. The variations in the tempo at the end of one song and the beginning of subsequent makes it difficult for the singers and the conductor to grasp the cue for them to begin or start their vocal part as there are no Definite cues in the music to indicate the beginning of the vocals which leads to the singers lagging behind..There should have been a strong indication through some musical phrase for the cues.
