The Orchestral Violinist
Orchestral excerpts - a must have for students making it into orchestra and resource for orchestral violin literature. I'm very happy the book arrived within the stipulated time of arrival.

It's ok
If you're a professional orchestral violinist, this 2 volume set of excerpts will be a good addition to your library.However -- you will find there are numerous editing errors as you go along. That, and some of the fingerings I would consider to be old-fashioned.Still, there are a handful of bowing and fingering suggestions that are quite innovative and useful. All it takes is one for it to be worthwhile, right?
