The New Museum was written in 2021 as part of my continuing exploration into chamber music writing. The rhythmic and melodic material found at the beginning of the piece can be heard recurring throughout the piece, complimenting each new subject which, in turn, also adds more color to the next in a different way. The composition was inspired by the beauty and creativity found in today's modern and contemporary art museums.
