This is Figaro's third aria from Mozart's opera, and it's a howl of pain from start to finish: Figaro believes that his new wife, Susanna, is already planning to be unfaithful with Count Almaviva (spoiler: she's not!) and rails against not only Susanna, but the perfidy of all women. Mozart knew what he was doing when he wrote Figaro as a bass and then gave him a whole string of top E-flats on the words "They don't feel a thing!"
The least well-known of the three arias for FIgaro, but arguably the finest.
