This arrangement of The Lord’s Prayer, as sung by Sister Janet Mead, for an Intermediate SATB Choir, maintains the same power and joy as the original, with only a few changes. The folk-rock sound of this song makes it great for both worship and concert. There are times when the melody is in unison and suddenly breaks into wide parts. Wide dynamics and some creative entrances keep the song from becoming tiresome when a section is repeated. There is one minor alteration to the original in that the only 3/4 measure in the original has been shange to a 4/4 measure to maintain the flow.
This arrangement includes not only the piano part, but also the guitar chords if you want to add a small rhythm section. The piano and guitar parts are playable by intermediate student musicans and are included as a separate combined lead sheet so that those players don't have to find their parts among the vocal parts.
