Peter Wittrich (*1959) set to music those individual figures and fairytale scenes, emotional and spiritual experiences, transforming them into an experience in sound. The Little Prince is read and loved by several generations, so my own cycle of pieces should also appeal across the generations, to all age groups. These are not primarily pieces for children, though children will enjoy them very much; this is music to suit contemporary tastes with artistic flair and educational merit, equally suitable for use in teaching and concert performance and also providing accessible and easy contemporary piano repertoire for more mature players starting or returning to the piano.
