You are holding in your hands the latest work by Roland Dyens, one that he worked on with passion for three years and completed at the end of September, just before his passing on October 29, 2016.
During the summer of 2016, he tirelessly worked on his arrangements, which he performed at the numerous festivals where he was invited, in France, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Lithuania, and finally on September 3, 2016, in Colombia. It was at the Guitar Salon International (California) where he premiered "Libertango" on June 27, 2015, and at the Festival Pause Guitare in Albi (France) where he gave the world premiere performance of "Invierno Porteño" on July 7, 2016.
Dear guitarists, put as much passion into playing this music as Roland did in writing and performing it. But beware, "it's something!" as he used to say...
A huge thank you to Sylvain Lemay (Les Productions d'OZ) and guitarist Roger Eon who spared no effort to bring these sublime arrangements by Roland to light.

Vous tenez entre vos mains la dernière œuvre de Roland Dyens, celle qu’il a travaillée avec passion pendant trois ans et achevée fin septembre, juste avant sa disparition le 29 octobre 2016.
Durant l’été 2016, il n’a eu de cesse de travailler ses arrangements qu’il a joués dans les nombreux festivals où il était invité, en France, Italie, Allemagne, Portugal, Lituanie, et le dernier le 3 septembre 2016, en Colombie. C’est au Guitar Salon International (Californie) qu’il a créé Libertango le 27 juin 2015, et au Festival Pause Guitare à Albi (France) qu’il a joué en première mondiale, Invierno Porteño le 7 juillet 2016.
Chers guitaristes, mettez autant de passion à jouer cette musique que Roland en a eu à l’écrire et à l’interpréter. Mais attention, «c’est quelque chose!» comme il disait…
Un immense merci à Sylvain Lemay (Les Productions d’OZ) et au guitariste Roger Eon qui n’ont pas ménagé leur temps pour que ces sublimes arrangements de Roland voient le jour.
